Just booked a rail ticket to Slough to collect my car on Friday. Not meaning to sound in the least bit racist or politically incorrect. I've been to see Steve today and discussed colours etc... All I need to do now is finalise my colour choice and arrange a date with him and the car will go in for the respray. He showed me some of the work he has done and it looks fantastic. In all fairness I have got a colour in mind and he's going to do some test sprays on a larger scale that the colour charts and we will see if it will look okay on the car. Did the Castle Combe trackday yesterday. Bloody brilliant!. It was my first time on track so a real eye opener. The car went great, the engine didn't even seem that hot and I was ragging the hell out of it. The stock breaks on the other hand were a pile of sh*t!! I've got my new brembos but didn't have time to fit them. I didnt want to encounter problems and not have the car ready for the trackday (one way op as I've got to drill the mounting holes out). They were fine for the first round of laps (10-15 mins). Think I'm going to have to admit defeat and go into hospital. I know a few threads have popped up about this recently, but today I have just started a new job within the same company servicing and repairing various things at well known superstores throughout the UK. Now I'm useless reading a map, and they only get you to the town you need to be in, nevermind getting you to the store. Today I went to Saffron Walden, Newmarket and Cambridge, and fook me if the bloke I was following learning the job from didn't have a GPS we'd have no chance. So, what I need is something cheap and cheerful that tells me via audio and 3d screen where I need to go. His one was a phone and GPS so no good to me. Does anyone have any advice…

i went away for the weekend and have about 1hr and half of footage which i have just transferred to my computer and its HUGE !! cant even get 5 mins onto a disk. The disks i have are 700mb and the footage in total is around 100kb !! How can i reduce it to get it onto a cd ??

Sat at work....in which I have a whole 2 weeks. Nil motivation other than the thought that I'm getting my Zed on Friday. Boss hasn't paid me for last week. So sent him a snotty email earlier...no response. Still not sure if this cheque will clear on Friday for me to be able to collect the Zed.....if not, then I have to wait till Monday!! I want to go to the meet on Sunday as well....let's just hope it does clear. 5 working days, paid in on Monday...in theory, should be cleared by Friday.
