Don't care that's it's old and is an afordable performance car. I've been out in it most of the evening and totally love it to bits still! The more I drive it, the more I love it. I'm back home now drinking vodka realising that I'm a lucky chap owning something a bit different, a bit powerful. It's not just the lovely driving position and the car's composure, it's not just that lovely engine. It's the whole presence the car has. I get people looking at it as if it was a Ferrari, not some 14 year old Datsun. Happy. :) Please excuse this rather pants thread. Just happy at the moment, started my new job on Wednesday and that's going really well too. …

Which year should I go for when looking for a Zed, by the experience I’ve got so far I guess I should avoid the '90 and '96. How about the '95? And how big are the changes through the years, I made a quick search for this but couldn't find anything (would be glad if someone could give me a link to a list with changes trough the years). :) Ken

I was in Parcel Force today waiting for the lady behind the desk to price and weigh some parcels, she had gone out the back with a parcel when I heard her screaming, I heard her saying somebody come quick so I was trying to lokk out the back but could not see her, then I heard her saying quick somebody kill it, kill it please, some body get me a brush. A bloke was shouting No dont kill it, then I heard her bashing something with a brush, she then came back to the counter and I asked if she had seen a spider? she said no it was a snake and she went out the back and brught the dead snake out, It was only about 5" long dark brown with little white markings going up its side.…

Phonecall at 4pm from my Wife, hysterical to say she had just been in a Head on collision on a Single carriageway in her MPV. My 7 month old daughter and mother-in-law also in the car. Jumped in car, and screeched there to find Wife in ambulance, Daughter on Respirator and mother-in-law at side of road in neckbrace surrounded my paramedics. Spent the evening in Hospital, Wife and daughter now home. Cuts and bruises on my wife. Baby suffered whiplash and has bruises where car seat harness digged in, but both ok. Mother-in-law having to stay in hospital, with fracturered Ribs and breathing difficulties. It seems to be my Wifes fault...2 cars in front s…

Right guys. Dont you think its time to show a bit more respect, restraint & even compation for members who make a bit of a fool of themselfs once in a while. There isn't anyone on this forum that hasn't made a pratt of themself at some time, myself included. We have had claims of cars that do 205mph to Evo spec zeds that I for one have never heard of as well as everything in between. :o It seems to me that certain members of this forum get jumped on every time they post a thread just for the sake of other peoples amusement. This is nothing more than school yard bullying and its time to rap it up. :wack: I joined this club for the cars as well a…

  14. Was thinking today while watching those poor desperate people in the US . George Bush firstly. Since he's been president , through all the major terrorist attacks , natural disasters and wars he's involved in, not once....NOT ONCE has he ever come across as genuine on any interview he's given. Always looks a bit dim to be honest.Even watching him now on the news hugging victims of the hurricane, patting them on the back. He just doesn't look genuinely sympathetic. A hurricane comes along and hits probably the most vulnerable spot in the US , kills thousands, makes him look very bad, and hits major oil supplies, one of mr. Bushes favorite t…

I pulled up behind a blue Ferrari 360 Spider on the lights, he started reving his engine just before the lights turned green and shot off, I just cruised till the next junction, ended up behind him again :p. Later that same night, on a different road, I stopped at a red light, no cars in sight, they turned green and I opened her up down the bottom lane and I saw in a mirror a spaceship like presence zooming towards me, 911 Turbo, I just cruised again at the same rate of speed. Even though I didn't give them the satisfaction of winning, goes to show that at least they got style at choosing an opponent :p

I popped up to see John Dixon a couple of weeks ago. Anyway he took me for a spin in his Zed and really taught me a lesson. His car is the most sorted Zed I have ever seen and he proved it to me by hurling it around corners at ridiculouse speeds. At one point the back end started to come out and we were doing about 85, with a little adjustment John had it back under control before I had even realised. It's not just a great car, but a great driver too. just wish I had worn a nappy! Thanks John. anyway... :ttiwwop: So...
