Can anyone recommend any decent, net based, copyright free photo archives? I currently use stock.xchng as it has a wide range of diverse, hi-res subject matter but it would be good to know of some others :) Cheers, Leigh.

What do I need to get the information about the car outputted to a computer as Legrath has done here? I know its called the ConZult, but are there many hardware and software versions of it? I found this on the TTZ Performance website, but it doesn’t seem to have an output which looks like Legrath's. The one on that website seem to cost 600 Australian dollars (~360€), are they all in that price-class? Oh, and if anyone know of anyone in GB/Europe who sells them, please post up a link :) Ken

Missed all of the summer. every meet except 1 santa pod adn im gona get it back and then go on holiday for a week.... and the cost... £6000 and rising. Whats been done. well what hasnt. front and rear is back to metal, straitened with very little filler used. mainly fiberglass and hammer and tongs etc. Doors have been filled with lead to get rid of the crease. And man alive where they ever bent 8 coats of primer, 4 then imperfections taken out then another 4 to go on, when the body is fully strait then final colour. Incidently £2500 of this is man hours sorting out badly manufactured body kit moldings. So if your buying a kit, be warned, it could cast …

I down loaded the demo of Windows Vista, from the thread posted last week, and it's OK but seems a little unstable. The new black start bar at the bottom keeps reverting to white/grey (not even XP!!), and some of the new icons also revert to original. So I was looking for a skin set, or whatever I could find, to make a nice change on my PC. To cut a long story short, I downloaded a program that can set it all up for me. I did this and was impressed with it, but found out I could change the Logon screen aswell, which I did a couple of times till I found a decent one. This morning I found another one that I thought would be perfect.... untill i came to turn the PC off....…

just got the new mag from them, and they NOW do a ROAD ANGEL NAVIGATOR, seen a few ask can you buy a combined job now you can:) not cheap mind but price the two together and doesnt seem bad £599.95, have just rang them and going to part ex my new road angel so brings it down to £379, only downside i can see from it it no longer has the laser detector, (got a laser jammer so not a great issue) also from their mag it seems the recent news items about the radar detectors etc being banned has now been put on hold (late 2007 AT LEAST) so those who like their toys   http://www.blackspot.com/products/roadangelnavigator/index.html

It occurred to me that a lot of the time I see the same few people on here at a ridiculously late hour... I think a roll-call for the night-owls amongst us might be in order:D If you got a reason as well, stick it down. Myself, I guess I'm an intermittant, partial insomniac!;) Get most of my good ideas for art stuff and a lot of my work done at night... So come on insomniacs...stand up and be counted!:D Leigh.

Drove up to Wrexham today (er...yesterday now!) with JD to visit Leon at Alunox to sort out stuff for the dry sump system and drop off the old manifolds for him to use as a pattern in making up some superior, redesigned versions for our V8's. Met Mark(zx) over there and had a crackin' day discussing the project and generally chewing the car related fat! Leon is an absolute craftsman when it comes to any form of metal fabrication and that's no understatement. His work is phenomenal and he's a top man to boot! (and hopefully if all goes well with the committee, he might be making a more permanent appearance on here in the not too distant future ;)) While we were there …
