Got a mate with a Mazda RX-8. It's a nice car, but what's with the fake-metal plastic trim all over the interior (it's a kind of grey silver color)? It's even down the sides of the centre console transmission tunnel. Why do they do this? It really spoils the car, which otherwise is very nice. Why not just use real metal? It'd look ten times better.

10 Z32s of various types in California (mainly LA) 4 Z31s in LA 2 Z32s in Texas After other comments I really wasn't expecting to see that many, but the ones in Texas were a real surprise. I'm not so sure about the whole tan interior thing though... seems to be quite common on American cars. The hire car some of my colleagues had was a Ford Taurus with a tan interior and the centre console / stereo highlighted in... matt black... mmm, nice. Honestly it looked awful; who on earth do they get to design these things?!?

I thought this might be quite fun to mess around with. Does it actually work? How does it get RPMs etc from the cigarette lighter? Is it in any way accurate? http://www.gtechpro.com/ss.html

Does anyone know whats going on with SE Nissan / Nisstek (AKA Silvia Engineering)? Peter and his team have done loads of work on my 300 and I was trying to call them on 01621 85 88 56 for some more but the number is not in use. There is nothing on Yell or in the BT book, any news?

Hi All  I was reading this review: http://www.hardrive.com/reviews/300ZX.htm I noticed this bit: The passenger seat flips forward to reveal a hidden storage compartment, home to all of the manuals and such. Also back there is a mysterious velcro closure that opens to reveal some car structure. I have no idea what that's for. I nipped out and can not find either. Surely, he is not talking about the map pocket and the front passenger well????? What do you guys think

6 weeks 5 days till my insurance up for renewal and I aim to have a 300zx sitting outside in 6 weeks 6 days ;) Not been seriously looking yet as I cant afford to insure till my next NCB and if I look too much now I'll end up buying one ;) Ones I've been looking at are arround £3k mark, whats chances of picking up a semi-decent one for that price? not after a mint condition but something that wont cost a few hundred quid a week to repair & with turbo's that wont blow up in a few months time. Also whats chances of getting a TT manual? dont really fancy auto tbh but as I will be selling current car before getting the Z I dont want to be waiting too long fo…

Which looks best - I don't know what to do. Seen a few spoilerless and love them, but I like the factory look too. I did my best with my very limited PSP skills. I know it's not much of a difference - but it does change the look quite a bit. Please help me decide.

What do you lot reckon to this bodykit? Bomex kit Quoted price is USD $874.99, although I've no idea what the shipping would be, nor whether or not they'll ship to the UK. And then of course there's VAT and import duty. In general what do you guys think about fibreglass kits? Are they up to scratch or are there better alternatives?
