Rotorstock 4 from one of your members,
Hi All, I hope you don't mind me posting this up but I have just had a member of yours (and ours) on the phone very concerned that he has no where to park his 300ZX at Rotorstock , whilst I can sort this for him by putting him on another clubs stand he also tells me that you guys are going to the pod the following week for a competition between yourselves. The Skyline owners club are also running a competition at Rotorstock and maybe you would like to reconsider going the following week and going to Rotorstock instead, but why should you ? We are taking R4 to Santa Pod for not only our Japanese car club, but all Japanese car clubs and as we are running this event and not the Pod we have tried to address one of the biggest gripes about the Pod and that is Track Time due to queuing! As you will see in the invite below we will be running the Track for RWYB on the Saturday for 8 hours from 1 till 9 at night with NO Jet cars, NO Bikes and No Demos of old American things this is to cut the damn boring queues , this means there are ONLY Jap cars on the strip next weekend and as the Skyline Club has realised R4 is an excellent way to run an event at the Pod within your own club. For more details please see below, all the Best Clive, President of Mazdarotaryclub Hello all, We would like to invite your club to a unique Show and Go event that we are holding not just for our club but for all of the Japanese car community. Just like your Japanese car club we have heard the complaints about the Jap shows at Santa Pod but at this meeting we are organising this event the way we believe a pure Japanese car event should be held with queuing cut down to as little time as possible, so by having NO Jet cars, bikes or any other “Demo” stuff clogging up the track just Japanese cars with Japanese engines you will get Max track time. With unlimited RWYB runs on the strip for £20 on the Saturday from 1pm till 9pm giving us night time Drags, with action all day while we look for the fastest 2 “Wild cards” from each of the classes that will go through to the Rotorstock Drag Championship the next day that also incorporates a round of the HKS series, This also means we will have all the top Drag cars running across the whole weekend. With sponsorship from Opie Oils, Santa Pod Raceway, MRP and Mazdarotaryclub this means the biggest ever prize fund of £2000 that will be divided between the Drag winners across the two days. If you just like to Show then we have teamed up with Meguiars to bring you a Show competition or if you like Drift we have something very special. For the first time ever by teaming up with Driftworks we are taking competitive twin Drifting to Santa Pod with the Rotorstock Drift Championships where the winner will walk away with a trophy and a £1300 clutch from Exedy, not only that you can have a go yourself if you wish because we are running RWYB drift as well for just £20 per day. Rotorstock grew out of the static car shows that the Japanese car community grew up with and takes all the best from Show,Drag and Drift and puts them all together in one action packed meeting aim just at YOU and your love of Japanese cars. Don’t miss out on the only real Show and Go event of the year in Europe just for our Japanese cars that is run by a car club full of enthusiasts just like your club for you and us to give us all an Action packed weekend like never before. Lastly if you thought this was just for our Mazdarotaryclub club members then read this, The Skyline-owners club said last year “Rotorstock is their best event of the year” and Jap n Crazy car club said this year, “I’ll go, it was by far the best show last year....” With just 2 weeks to go you will need to book your club in real quick to be part of this unique event and you can contact Santa Pod on 01234 782828 or buy your tickets online at http://www.SantaPodShop.com. Hi All, here is your invite to two Japanese only Championships
Don't forget it's not all serious stuff as we have normal RWYB going on all weekend as well. If you have that sort of power you may well qualify in the top 32, and all qualifiers take home a trophy, also come the championship proper it's then heads up racing and stops being about times. :)

Hi All, here is your invite to two Japanese only Championships
Hi guys l have posted this because a lot of people seem to think that Rotorstock is Just for Mazda’s even though we are running the only two Championships for Japanese cars in Europe with The Japanese Street Fighter Championships and the Rotorstock Drift Championships. Well what is “Rotorstock” and why is it called a Japanese only Show n Go called “Rotorstock”? I have listed below the reasons that Rotorstock is called Rotorstock and to tell you that the biggest thing to remember is that this meeting is run for all Japanese Cars, by Enthusiasts for Enthusiasts who unlike all the other shows and meetings you will attend only do it for Love and receive NO moneys putting an event like this on for you ALL. We hope to see you there either as a club or just as individuals on 29th/30 May for a great Show nGo weekend, no matter what you drive, as long as it’s JAPANESE !! Rotorstock evolved from realising that our members much preferred running up the Drag Strip than taking their cars around after organising several “track days” with no one wishing to attend we then took the club to Santa Pod in October 2003 and were surprised and pleased to find 130 of our cars turned up and enjoyed the day. Over the winter of 2003 it was suggested by our members that we held and organised our own meeting for Japanese cars only and with myself being a long time Drag Racing enthusiast after racing for a season a few years ago it seemed logical that the time was right to take the Japanese car community Drag Racing with a proper Show n Go meeting just for our Japanese cars like they do with the “Import Drags” in the States, and so Rotorstock was born. The name “Rotorstock” may conjure up thoughts of just Rotary powered machines but this was never the case, as we all enjoy the many different and varied machines the Japanese car community offers and has made many friends within the community over the years. Indeed the name only signifies that it’s a Japanese Rotary car club that has not only brought you the first proper racing for these wonderful cars in the UK but also that it continues to organise and work toward giving the community a great “Show n Go” meeting to be remembered by all each year. This year’s event sees an evolution of last year’s event with a Drifting Championship being added to the only Drag Championships being held in Europe for Japanese only cars. Above all this meeting is brought to you and organised by Enthusiasts for Enthusiasts! and I hope you all have a great weekend no matter what type of Japanese car you drive. For more details of this event please go to http://www.Rotorstock.com All the best Clive Haynsford President of Mazdarotaryclub.com
