  1. HD Explained Read the box "The HD LOGO", should clear it up for you. :)
  2. There is no such resolution as 1080 x 720i. 1080i means 1920x1080 lines interlaced. TRUE HD refers to 1920x1080p which literally only a few TV's can display. We have Sony, Philips and Panasonics running on HD in our showroom and the Panasonic is no where near up to the others as it can only display 1024x768p. 852 x 480 is no where near HD. Thats less than ordinary TV pictures! (576 lines)
  3. 1024x768 isn't true HD, it is the absolute MINIMUM standard. This is because it can display 720p (1024x720lines progressively scanned). This will be the favoured format for sports and fast moving programmes. For this reason I wouldn't touch a Panasonic plasma because it only got the minimum standard. Sony and Philips at least get near the 1080i (1920x1080 lines interlaced) as most have 1366x768 pixels and the picture is sooo much better than the Panasonic. Look for this as a minimum standard. If you want true HD Philips do a 37" LCD that has the full 1920x1080 that you can pick up for about £2200. BUY THIS IF YOU WANT TRUE HD!! Toshiba do one too but its how do I say,.... err TOSH!
  4. Doesn't CRT stand for Cathode Ray Tube? I thought they only made HD sets in LCD and Plasma? There is only one true high def DVD player that Toshiba are making but its not released yet and its gonna cost £1000ish. There are quite a few DVD players with HDMI out but they upscale DVDs to HD. They still look stunning though!
  5. I tried that. Just as bad unfortunately. Hope EA do a quick fix soon
  6. Do I have to go into the BIOS menu to do that mate?
  7. I have 1gb of ram and a 3.2 pentium processor. It was running ok before the patch so must be that I guess. What a pain! Turboz, what card does your bro have?
  8. Ah, thats useful to know. Thanks for that. I have read somewhere that the patch is S**T. Dunno why they make the game worse with patches.
  9. I'm reasonably up and computers but I know there are some real computer genius's on here so please help.... I have a Geforce 6600GT with the most current drivers and Battlefield 2 has just started running like a dog. I have patch 1.3 and have tried re-installing the whole game and the patch. Previously I was running the game on full graphics perfectly. Now it gets all jerky when there is a lot going on. Other than this, my PC is running okay I think. Any ideas what I could try guys?
  10. Big thanks to Zen garage and a huge recomendation for supplying me with an O2 sensor. If you live in the south take it to these guys, I made the mistake of using Caffyns Eastbourne and had to wait 5 weeks to get my car back and even had to get the part they were waiting for myself. Also Nissan (Caffyns) charged £165 for the O2 sensor they managed to get. And what did Zen charge????? £65, and it was a genuine NIssan part! Anywayz, massive thanks again and me Z is now sold. If anyone is thinkin of selling their Z and they can afford to keep it, DON'T! It leaves a gaping hole inside like your missing an organ or something. Also massive thanks and all the best to you guys on the forum for your advice and knowledge. :D
  11. Thats odd, mine were off a Supra and fit perfectly?
  12. Maybe the kit car is that topless espace in the advert?
  13. I'd do that if I won some money or something. That Version R is lush! I would change the wheels tho, they are the only part of the car that look dated.
  14. Superstition is a great driving track. Shame he did all the dreary love b****x! "Sweet Child of Mine" for me. G n R
