from someone who knows what they are talking about tooley

Triple world champion Niki Lauda has described the stewards' decision as "the worst judgement in F1 history".

"It is the most perverted judgment I have ever seen," said the Austrian, who won the title for both Ferrari and McLaren.

"It's absolutely unacceptable when three functionaries (the stewards) influence the championship like this."

To be fair i'm not a ferrari fan or an italian fan but i was gutted for kimi when he crashed after a valiant attempt to keep it straight in the wet and holding an immense lead all the way through.

What i do object to is the fact that despite running off the road and then holding back to let kimi go back into the lead then moving back behind him BEFORE overtaking him again he has been penalised yet again and ferrari have been allowed to win again despite being 20 seconds behind.

It's not the first time they've done it and it certainly won't be the last.

Its not a case of being british and standing up for him, i would think the same for any other driver if they've driven brilliantly throughout the race, done the right thing then get stripped of their title

its also the fact that kimi did the same thing a few laps later and gained 3/4 car lengths on hamilton when he went off track

as a ferrari fan and italian i have signed it as it was wrong what they have done and bought everyone to slate ferrari and italians as cheats, it my be true but IMHO i think FIA have something against mclaren if it was against any other team than ferrari i think they still would have done the same. lewis did nothing wrong its called racing and FIA are taking racing out of F1

I'm not a big Hamilton fan as i find some of his comments quite arrogant, but i thought it was a great race that he won fairly, he was forced off the track so had to cut the corner, he then gave back the lead and then won it back fairly.

I signed the petition but i don't think it will influence any outcome.

It's not McLaren, it's Ron Dennis.

signed. 14320 Signatures Total so far says a lot. you will always get those who moan but right is right and the decision making has become a farce wether you like lewis or not.

dan.

Signed, but it will not bother the F1 authorities - this is just more publicity and therefore money for the whole shambles.

signed. i felt so sorry for Kimmi for holding the lead for so long. yes Lewis' skill gained him his 6 seconds back, and when Kimmi shut him down and forced him off the road there was nothing Lewis could have done other than hit Kimmi's front wheel. Lewis won fair and square.
