I've just received an application form through from South Lanarkshire Council, inviting me to attend the above.

 

It says that the show is happening on Sunday, 17th of August. It is free of charge to display your car

(or £4 if you want to park it in the car park).

 

It also says that if we want to have a club stand, numbers are limitd to 20 (i cant really see us having a problem with going over though! :tongue:)

 

Also, the letter states that all cars displayed must have an MOT and Insurance for use on a public highway as the showing arenas are being treated as th same.

 

There's one little question though: Would we be classed as classic cars or modified cars?

 

They need numbers in by the 4th of july.

Im defo not going to be able to make it.

 

However, when i put in the registration form, there was only 6 names put forward. So i only registered 6 vehicles.

To reflect this, i was sent 6 entrance "labels" so im guessing a max number of 6.

mine is getting painted in three weeks id be up for a meet then no point getting pics of car the way it is

thats a big bummer about the show

Its been really nice weather wise down here today and hasn't really rained since mid-week, i think this could have gone ahead after all, although i don't know if the park was water logged. There was a bit in the Herald saying it was cancelled because they were expecting more rain but it hasn't appeared.
