I've just received an application form through from South Lanarkshire Council, inviting me to attend the above.

 

It says that the show is happening on Sunday, 17th of August. It is free of charge to display your car

(or £4 if you want to park it in the car park).

 

It also says that if we want to have a club stand, numbers are limitd to 20 (i cant really see us having a problem with going over though! :tongue:)

 

Also, the letter states that all cars displayed must have an MOT and Insurance for use on a public highway as the showing arenas are being treated as th same.

 

There's one little question though: Would we be classed as classic cars or modified cars?

 

They need numbers in by the 4th of july.

Well, it says that if we intent on having a club stand, the secretary of the club should return the form. But since the 300zx.co.uk secretary wont be attending, it would make sense for you to do it......with you being the REO and all :tongue:

Blackford Games Park, Blackford, Perth.

Not a Jap show, but all sorts of Rods, Yanks and Custom stuff !!

Some of it is amazing ! Typical example is a MK1 Golf, street legal with a twin turbo, 4.2ltr V8 !:eek: Or that cracking wee Moggy Minor with the Pontiac 6.6ltr, Blown V8 !:shock:

Sounds like youve got it all in hand :). Yes you can start to PM folks, but there are one or two who are likely to go that cant recieve pms. So I will start a list on this thread.

Re previous post, can anyone who thinks they might want to attend let us know on this thread to give us an idea of numbers.

i'll be there mate, i got my form in last week aswell + i had my zed at it a couple of years ago and it was a brilliant day but wolud have been better if there had been enough for a club stand that year aswell

That should give folk enough time to judge if their car is gonna be on the road / mot'd / insured and suchlike!

Im sure the form has spaces for details of 5 cars, but i'll give the organisers a call or an email tomorrow to see if the need to me to send in 2 forms or if its ok just to write them on another piece of paper.

no ive been adding lots of goodies to the zx eg kybs and einbacs if thats how you spell it,front twin induction kit and intercooler,sounds,pods and boost gages etc and upgraded ecu still working on it its trying to fit it in with work and family ties cheers tam
