What we pay

As some of you know or dont know, we have a garage which also sells fuel. We had a huge delivery today and thought some of you might find it interesting to see what independent garages get charged for fuel. We have a contract with Gulf and they charge us

95 RON 90.9p/ltr Selling at 110.9p/ltr

DEV 101.9p/ltr Selling at 122.9p/ltr

which after tax and what not we get about 1.3p/ltr profit :cry:

    bad is that really, just over 1% profit margin. I take it you rely on the sale of other stuff from the shop to make it worth it?

     

    How many litres a day does the garage sell if you dont mind me asking?

    My mech used to sell fuel and stopped because he said it just was'nt worth it to makes pennies. :(
