I think it's so you can rate people on their advice and helpful comments etc.

Seen it on a few other forums.

There are drawbacks to everything and this won't be an exception, however it sounds like a great idea :)

Its a feedback system like ebay so buyers, sellers and traders can record their experience about sale transactions.
