Hi,

I might need to remove my Toad alarm from 1 car and put it in another, how difficult would that be?

Thanks

Vijay

yeah, same as mine. when it comes to cat1`s, they are not the easiest to transfer from one car to another, reason being, theres quite a few black wires which when new are colour coded, these are cut off as its being fitted so you end up with a bunch all the same colour and no identification. on removal these have to be tagged 100% as to where they go. one wrong tag and its bye bye alarm. hope this helps.

Cheers bud, that's exactly what I was thinking I'd have to do. Could you do me a huge favour (if you have 5 mins) and PM me how many wires I would expect to find and where they would go to?

Thanks

Vijay

If you take the alarm box out of the metal case you will see 2 wiring block connectors, not all the wires are black(usually just the twin immobilisers and earths) but with the wiring diagram they are easily traced, ive removed ai606's and refitted time and time over just cross ref the diagram to the blocks
