Castle Combe Spring Action Day

Saturday 19th April 2008

 

If its road legal, has four wheels and an engine chances are it will be eligible for our Performance Car Action Day.

 

Displays from some of the largest performance clubs, stands with lots of tuning parts and accessories and you have the reason why this day is so popular. Look out for trophies for the best car and best club stand of the show.

 

Open to anyone with a suitable car and current driving licence.

Your car will be on display at the 300zx.co.uk Club stand and 15min Track time sessions are available on the 1.85 mile Race track.

 

You do not have to put your car on the Track if you do not wish to.

 

Exact prices tba - But around £20 per track session and £7 entry per person.

Not entirely sure which cars me and Legrath are taking yet....this evening we have to fit a gearbox to one and completely spray another one LOL .....its going to be a long night !

Had a great day, went on track for the first time and it was ace:nana2:it was better than expected and cant wait to do it again at Japfest:pweather was a bit naff so retired to the pub as ya do, then went back to track and Dave managed to blag 2 free track sessions, so I let him take Murt out for the experience, then he took Ianl out and they had a good time too. Was well worth going back for the afternoon. Many thanks to all that turned up, sorry to Madmarco that we all disapeared but did leave a note under windscreen for you to follow us and we did come back to find you but you had left. Sorry again Madmarco;)

hope you all had a good time , didnt have a baby sitter so couldnt come :(

Agree with Lisa......we had a super day out and combined it with an hour or so at a local pub which ALL good meets must include.

The rain didn't dampen our enthusiasm or enjoyment. Now looking forward to May's Castle Combe meet.

Ahhh, thats where you went! Should have known you lot would make a beeline for the closest pub! I did notice the paper under the windshield wiper but it was soaking wet and I didn't see the note. I was trackside watching 240wookie taking some laps in his very quick 240Z. No problem, it was a great day, especialy when the track dried out for the second session. Nice meeting a couple new people along with the familiar faces. Good on Lisa for braving her first track session, she's hooked now!
