couldnt fookin believe what had been stuck on our bins at work, we put them out at 3pm today, the get emtied early on thurs morn's, we went to do a job and got back to the garage at 4.15pm, the council had been round and put hooge red stickers on the bin saying because of arson probs, the bins should be put out on the morn of collection, continuing to put them out the night before will result in a £2000 per bin fine

couldnt fookin believe it, have the council got fook all else to do but to do shite like this, why dont they spend the money and time on catching the fookin arsonist's, what a load of crap

lol yet another great british policy, punish the victims instead of doing anything productive about it.

Sooner this bunch of ****s in power get overthrown the better.

we complained a few months ago about the house next door, they hadnt put their rubbish ouit for months, there was even evidence and sightings of rats, the council said there wasnt anyhting they could do as it was private property, now we are getting wrong for actually keeping our properties clean and tidy

With the amount you drink Allan I hope you weigh your empties in rather than throwing them out  ;)

PMSL, stopped recycling when they wouldnt take it cause i hadnt seperated all the glass and tins and so on, they put a note through my door saying that they wouldnt take it till it was all seperated, so i left a note the following week saying how lazy they were being and i wont be recycling anymore

LMAO we got a note through Saz's door the other week saying they wouldn't take the extra bin bag I'd left on top of the wheelie bin. They posted it before they picked the fooker up though and it split open and everything went all over the pavement  They had to sweep it up and in the end took it anyway  The stupid thing is there wouldn't have been an extra bag on top if they collected weekly rather than 2 weekly

It's also called crime prevention and all agencies, not just the police, have a duty to help prevent crime and disorder. Furthermore it has always been an offence to put bins out the night before but that was probably originally as an environmental health issue.

criminal offence LMAO, didnt realise i had been breaking the law all these years

Who remembers the days when the bin men came up your drive, collected your bins and returned them? Fookin health and safety shite!!! As Clarkey said, its all about punishing the easy target rather than curing the real problem. What next? Get your house broken into and then get done for not making it secure enough? I can see it coming.....

No doubt comes with a 15 year sentence!

Not convinced it is a criminal offence but i'm sure there is a law for it.

What a load of trash :D

gonna start chuckng my rubbish in the feild across the road from me, i reported fly tippers a few weeks ago, even knew who they were and was told there was nothing they could do about it

How do they know what time you put your bins out, it could have been 10 minutes before the van came around or days before, keep putting it out and let them take you to court.

When I was growing up in Preston I remember them collecting the old galvanised bins from around the back of the house every week. They weighed a fooking ton and they were a happier bunch than they are now!

Yep then we can have one of the other bunch of nondiscript tossers talking to talk and lining their pockets while doing F all.

Makes me laugh, most of the things Labour get blamed for were actually brought in by the tories :xxx:

Like the 30 plus stealth taxes since 1997, the farkin human rights charter, its too late to argue politics, and god doesn't exist either.

Not that old chestnut. They have had 10 years to change it though haven't they.

We have just gone to 2 week collections so am waiting for a letter saying I need to recycle.

Will send them a bill for my time I think as you are supposed to wash the stuff. Stupid thing about that is we live on the top of a hill so all our water has to be pumped up so where is the enviromantal saving in that.

Darrell

I think I'll use my unmetered mains water pressure to generate electricity :D
