As theres already a joint meet with the NE & NW regions this month, and more importantly Ive left it too late to arrange anything this month, I suggest the next Scottish meet be held on the night of 18 October (a Thursday night to try and vary the days and times meets are held)

 

looking at the spread of members I'm thinking that the meet be held around the Livingston area as its pretty central and handy for most of the Central Belt. I'll try and sus out a suitable location.

 

nothings set in stone as yet, so any suggestions for alternatives are welcome

I was in that toys'r'us today buying some Hot Wheels for my five year old.

My 300 still has a sick gearbox.....no 3rd gear.....hopefully to be rectified with a manual conversion and for me the weekend is better. Sorry guys but gonna have to miss this one.

Hope your car gets well soon, mine is recovering from a bout of tin worm and probably wont be fully fit until next spring..... regards weekends for meetings, I'm trying to vary the times and days, so that eveyone can at least attend a couple a year.

the next one I'll try and arrange during the weekend.

Cheers for that Robert, I am picking up Mikey's car aka Shrek on Sunday with a view to breaking it for the manual box and as I missed out on a 'good' auto box the manual route sounds better.

 

I used to work weekends now am early start late finish mon to fri so I cant really plan my week but no doubt something will turn up that suites me. I am just kinda warey taking my car any distance with no 3rd gear in case it fooks up completely.

yes i would like that, not too far away, i just dont like going as my 300zx is standard as i just had it 2 months now,well i have put corba racing ovals on it ...hopefully my windows be tinted then it will look minted until u see the tear in my seat a wee one but its there, and i just cant afford the leather yet...

Dont worry about it being standard, mine is pretty much standard appart from the usual engine mods, and a lot of the other members cars are much the same.

Your very welcome to come to the Livingston meeting its still to be finalised, but this will be done soon.

 

Oh and as for the tints "dont do it" they are sure to be illegal, you will just end up having to take them off again.

In Livingston retail area, yet to pick an appropriate car park, but its gotta be close enough to a nosh point for Berrica (KFC requested) and its apparently next to toys r us, so that I get to ogle the the young mummies, but then again at my age I'm happy to eye up the Gala Bingo que totty :)
