I got offered a saloon skyline a while back, are they good, whats the name of them again, it was quite a while ago.

i gotta have a turbo i really dont wanna get rid of my zed im tryin to find ways around it but everything says no. i was gona take it of the road this winter to do some mods and i dont think it would be wise to drive it where i live in winter weather

why's your son have to go in the back... if it's because of the seatbelts, why not convert to late/ uk spec?

do you really have to get rid?? does the missus not have her own car? plenty of folk have kids and a zed!

why not get a cheap run around like a 5 door fiesta i know it's crap but you might be able to keep the z then

yeah just been lookin at runarounds on pistonheads theres a couple of jeeps on there for cheap gona run it past her its a shame she aint got a license.i really dont wanna get rid of hte zed but dont want the hassle of her as its normally to do with cars haha

its your car and if you dont want to get rid dont, there are other alternatives that can keep everybody happy so just twist her arm a little!!

haha gona try cause ive been well pi**ed off today thinkin about it but i have to think about havin 2 kids soon but i do always get what i want ive got till japshow to see what im gona do.this club is so cool for replies

You don't need to get rid of it matey :( I wouldn't if i were going to be a father, just get a nice new baby seat :D

Fit 3-point rear belts from a UK car or Jap 92 onwards. Plenty of zed owners here with kids.

I have 3 kids and still use my zed when i need to. tell her the back seats are very safe due to how low the kids sit in them and find a child seat that will fit in the rear using 3 point seat belts !

Good grief, I was expecting trouble from my "Mrs" now she's expecting, but even she didn't suggest selling the zed :shock: .......... and she really doesn't like the car at all :cry:

My original answer was "sorry, zeds just not suitable for a kiddie seat" - almost got away with it too.....then met up with Gaz (Hellraiser) recently and he suggested replacing rear lap belt with three point rears........... and he said it in front of her, bless his 'cotton-eyed' socks :tongue: Hence, I'm currently trying to sort the conversion out (cheers Yampie) - plenty of cars being broken at the moment so parts are around and cheaper than another car!!!

Good luck mate, hope you can find a way of not selling, remember that in 7 months time you'll be able to have the 2 kids in the back and the wife back in front.

cheers for the good replies im gona look into doin the rear belts my 6 yr old told me i cant get rid of it cause he wants it when hes older like the men on overhaulin :p
