not something i usualy go for in a lady lol

Don't like the programme, in particular the way it is filmed - all the flashy images which prevent you from seeing the actual car for more than a split second, or the presenters.

 

VBH just squeels nonsense, Tom Ford needs a haircut and some decent clothes and Needell (although the man can drive) has this annoying urge to ALWAYS get a car sideways - that is not the point of whether a car handles well or not under NORMAL circumstances. And what's the deal with this Johnny guy who runs a Merc on chipfat ... like anyone cares!

 

Recorded it and watched just the Veyron bit this morning and as expected he has to get it sideways ... Was more interested in seeing the production facility and marketing suite ... very classy!

 

Interesting fact about the Veyron (and incidentally not picked up by FifthGear) is that 27 Veyrons have been sold to UK customers (seventeen of which have now been delivered) which makes it the biggest Bugatti market in the world! There may be more Veyrons on the road in Dubai (32 at last count) but the majority of these were delivered to the various Emirates and not to Dubai itself. How do I know this? I know the sole UK Bugatti representative quite well ...

 

Anyway - it is/was a crap programme and always will be. Rant over ;) ...

What do you expect? Its channel 5 ffs!!! :D

That one's back at the factory getting repaired. From what I've been told you could by a small house for the cost of this repair! :shock: Oh, and the insurance isn't paying out on this one either as it wasn't the owner who was driving at the time ...

good point danny, 5th gear is garbage and it should stop trying to copy top gear with everything. That ugly posh bird VBH is annoying but i have always liked Tom Ford. The new guy is quite funny but thinks he is a bit too great and Tiff has fallen into the trap that so many TV personalities have in that he is started playing up to his own stereotyped persona. VBH just makes orgasmic squeals to pull in the male punters and hopes people dont realise she doesnt have any media talent and a face that looks like a cake that was left was left in the oven too long. She annoys me greatly.

Yes, that is one heck of a sexy looking car! And aparently well put together to boot! Can't wait for one of my Lambo customers to take delivery of his (in November) - black with contrasting cream/grey interior. Will of course blag a ride asap!

I hate the way VBH's bottom lip curls away downwards at about every fourth or fifth word. Drives me mad. I think Tiff was pissed at the start of that Veyron piece. He was cutting his words short and was just too excited. Tom Ford just needs a :slap: and as for that goon with the two Smart cars.........................prick.

it was better than when clarckson got it and decided to race an aeroplane at night, did he even show you the outside of the car, muh respect for tiff turning of the traction control and giving it a thrash, i like 5th gear, but do think they could tell you a bit more about the car nstead of just looning about in them, must admit the smart cars bolted together was fun, the crash was so funny
