just received this email from one of the chaps who runs the day:
hi dave
we are still making money for on your marks , as the auction is on at the moment, but it looks like to be about £20,000 to be given away at the end of the day , what a good day it was , we had a ball , and david walton was over the moon , he has given us the date for next year sunday the 10th aug 2008 he was that impressed, he said it was the best organised track day he has ever had, big prase from him!!!!, with no complaints from anyone.
as soon as we have a final figure we will let you know,
