Well I have just sat here watching probably one of the best special effects movies ever made. It was fookin brilliant. Might not be everyones cuppa. From start to finish it kept me on the edge of my seat.

Yup. Was pretty darn impressed with it. Have to admit, I was disappointed that the other Autobots/Decepticons ie Jazz, Ironhide, Ratchet, Blackout, Barricade, Starscream etc weren't given more screen time, they kind of appeared then buggered off fairly quickly, and that the Autobot voices were sphincter clenchingly cheesy...BUT...this didn't detract from what was an excellent action film. I was so worried it was going to suck and it really, really didn't. Like you say Vini, the effects were absolutely astounding. They all looked so believably "real"!

 

On a side note, the "trailer with no name" that showed at the beginning looks like it could be pretty interesting. Apparently it's been dubbed "Cloverfield" just so people have something to call it! The trailer ends with “Produced by J.J. Abrams” and the release date “1.18.08″. J.J.Abrams is the guy who does "Lost"! According to insiders, it's a giant monster movie, reffered to at the moment as "The Parasite"....could be interesting!

ILM did the effects i think, Spielberg knows whos best at effects ;)

Apparently the whole movie was a big military operation and all those robots were actually real. The cover up was that they say its CGI and we actually believe them.

 

I'm joking of course but what if eh!?

 

Saw this last week and it was absolutely brilliant. I reckon its the new big effects revelation after T2, Jurrassic Park, The Matrix & The LOTR.

Just watched it today. It was perfect. I'm off into the loft now to give Optimus Prime a hug.

 

You have to love Michael Bay. His movies make the hairs on my hairs stand on end!

i've just seen it on sunday was really good , i think the action was all a bit too fast though . was alot of funny parts to it too, now who's got a copy i could borrow ;-)

Can't wait to see this one, off this wend to take a look :D
