Alpine Head unit help

Think my head unit is buggered. Switched the car on and it came up with "Loading" while it read the CD (had MP3's on it so takes a moment). After a while it still did nothing, so tried pressing eject, came up with eject on the screen but did nothing, so switched to the Radio, which after about 5 seconds went quiet, so neither are working!!!

 

Tried resetting, even disconected the whole thing today but when I plugged it back in it still says "Eject" on the screen for the cd player.

 

Any one had a similar experience with an Alpine? It's about 3 years old so surprised if it's gone already.

 

Any advice?
