i am in two minds, JAE was good last year and the interaction with the other clubs was nice ie the bucking bronko, Billing just sounds far too dull, we had the best club stand at JEA last year with a big count of cars, food was fantastic thanks to hammster and music too. i just can see the Zclub being the same

The thing is that most of the ZClub are old farts who prefer the peace and quiet in their old age (That quote came from one of the ZClub's own members, not me!!)

I think Billing is a dismal dated dump and I cant stand camping but its a significant gathering of Zed owners so its a tempting commercial oportunity to sell some gear. Ill be there as a trader abnd probably at JAE the following weekend just with my car.

OK....Were gonna have a Bucking Bronco, Inflatable Sumo Suits with fighting ring and a Bungee Run. which is a bungi you put around your waist, you then run as fast and as far as you can, until the bungi retracts you back into an inflatable wall. :D

I wasn't joking, what I put up REALLY was quoted by a member (a well known/influential one as well) from the ZClub! And that person was talking directly to me at last years JAE, saying why there wasn't very much attendance from them on their stand.

 

Well I'm looking forward to both events anyway, I've not done the Billing event with ZClub before, so I'll see how it goes :D

Well I am an old fart I am as fat as a sumo and I really wouldnt do a bungie JUMP the RUN sounds safer. So I am going to have a good time anyway.

The JAE or Japanese Auto Extravaganza is being held at Peterborough on Jul 21/22.

A pitch has been allocated for JOINT Use between Zclub and 300Zx.co.uk. This pitch is marked on the official JAE map as "Zclub".

Neither the Zclub or 300Zx.co.uk have advance booked any tickets. So if you are going its "pay on the gate" then make your way to the area marked out. Just ensure you are in your Zed and tell the person collecting the dosh you are on the Zclub pitch.

As I post tonite neither club has any marquee, gazebo etc organized.

I will be there on Sunday(not sure about Sat).

So... who else is going to be there????

And.... what shall we do????

I will be putting this info up on 300Zx.co.uk too as Im a joint member.

 

So unless anyone tells me different its down to those of us who are going to get ourselves organised as it doesnt look like there will be any committee members or organizers there from either club.
