was listening to them today at lunch time, there was a bloke on telling us about how there is going to be no retirement age, wich is all fine and well, he was saying that emplyers will still be hiring people at the current retirement age (which i dont believe at all)

then he got on about how people in the workplace shouldnt recieve birthday cards with their age on them as it may be insulting

I PMSL at this remark, then relised that some people watching the news and hearing this will jump on the bandwagon and start suing companys for harrasment of age if they recieve any cards with their age on :xxx:, its bound to happen

no wonder people take their companys abroad lol

yep i talked to a mate of mine who is a financial analyst in teh city. none of his people are expecting to get a state pention and they are all saving like mad, some are even downsizing their homes in order to up their pention plans. I kid you not

I wouldn't expect to get anything from the state pension.

I've got a rusty biscuit tin under the bed full of used notes - that's my pension.

Its also the rising prices of property, people are having to take out longer motgages to be able to get on the property ladder. Made me laugh the other day on the news they said we are more in dept with credit cards than any other europian country, why is that i wonder? Maybe its coz this is prob the dearest country in the world to live in and the wage structure dosnt match?

Also a company can not buy some one who has been working there a long time a present when they retire. Its agest against people who have not worked there that long.

fooking country gone mad over kill on this political correctness b0ll0x
