Im running an ATI X1900XT using PCIE and its awesome!

Costs a bit but my god its the muts nuts! Was running a 9800pro overclocked before but it was no good for the new games coming out, upgraded to the x1900xt and s1t there is nothing i cant play with EVERYTHING on full!

i had the 9800pro on my old PC (a 2.2ghz) which was good, i currently run an X850XT on my new 3.4ghz and its pretty damn awesome! the 1800/1900 are real top-enders but i cant afford them

SLi boards arnt being catered for in applications so you wont notice much of a difference for your bucks as opposed to a decent single card. As the technology becomes more widespread the cars are going to drop in price. Personaly I got my SLi board when they came out, what 2 years maybe ago, I have a single 6800 in there atm and there realy isnt much difference.

However there are 3 games to be released around xmas time that are Sli compatible and the gains are imence.

i dont want to spend silly money on one, as i recon we are going to get a new line of cards out ready for vista and geforce 8 so looking at either a xfx 7950gt xt or a BFG 7950 gt for about £220-£240

ypou could get a old top end 68 or 6900 series card for a lot less and a fraction less performance, then up it later on.

I would go for the ATI X1950XT graphics card. Also I would go for the entry level Conroe CPU (£120) as it can be overclocked to beat even the fastest cpu AMD make.

get the 1gb card 1024Mb for overclockers top cards low prices you cant go wrong buddy, or talk to PK1 and see if he has anything laying around
