Not worth it in my opinion.

Vectra 2.2 is worth 5k.

You could get a very nice zed for that.

If the Zed is in good contition, fairly standard and with no faults its worth circa 3k, if you value your Vectra at that then its a good deal, if not, sell the Vectra and take a look about for a good example, theres plenty out there.

i ant got a clue but want summink fast whats good about a 300zx twin turbo n whats bad thanks 4 being of much help nice of u lot ta

to be honest having the view "i wanna fast car init!!" wont get u anywhere

do some research, see what model suits u best, these cars can be VERY VERY expensive to maintain and run.

my 2p's worth

why so much to maintain

because they have 2 turbo's and are 3.0ltr

when the turbos go its a engine out job

cost me over 1500 quid to have mine done last year

why so much to maintain

Take a look under the bonnet, its not a Vectra ;) most 16 year old cars with this performance are going to be expensive to maintain, and if you scrimp on the maintenance it will play up.

f,,,,,, hell could have a turbo convesion on me vec for that and thats a vxr

to be honest m8 if thats your view on it then perhaps this sort of car isnt for you ;)

Yes, but its still a vectra.

true i mean whats the value on these i think the cars look great

This is why its costly.

bay26qf.jpg

that is some machine

hence the high running and maintaining costs

if you can afford it then fair enough but think about it m8

when these go wrong then tend to go wrong in a serious way

thanks guys

ive told you them all it could do with a new set of rear lexus lights there are no leaks tyres all good hardly done any miles since mot at worst you may need to take it somewhere like that place in tamworth coz they are highly tuned cars and do need regular services but there will be somewhere down your way but maybe not as cheap it is a nice car that i have not got time for i work 6 days a week ond on my day off the mrs wants shopping for some reason thats what he is saying summink a bit fishy i think i

BRILLIANT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

meaning

meaning that dirty great v6 is a bottomless money pit. When it goes wrong (and it WILL go wrong at some point) it'll cost a fortune to repiar. For instance, compare the prices for a major service and cambelt change on your Vectra with the price for the same job on a Z.......scary.

im getting scared now lol

do u get a lot of eyes

yeah, but I think that's mainly cuz I live in a little vilage in the New Forest and most of the inhabitants haven't seen many 'horseless carriages' before :D
