A little long winded, but here is why I am a VERY proud dad today...

My daughter is 12, and lives with her mum, 2 years ago, she was in a car accident and suffered damage to her back, now it's not a very serious complaint, but it does give her a LOT of pain, and walking for long times, results in a lot of pain.

She came to my house dinner time today, to give me a fathers day card and gift.

She was dressed in a track suit, and had a number on her front, and my uncles name on her back.

Some of you may recall, that a couple of months ago, my uncle died from cancer 12 weeks after being diagnosed.

My daughter had done a sponsored walk of 5 kilometers in memory of my uncle to raise money for cancer research. despite knowing it would put her in a lot of pain today, she did it anyway......

She didnt raise a lot of money, but what she did raise is more than they had i guess, but she made me the proudest dad on the planet today.
