.... Windows Vista???

it's not the best as you could imagine especially the 64bit version, surprised of how much actually does work for a beta release but not many drivers availible for anything.

couldnt install mine, doesnt like my raid. bloody thing have to wait for the release version

That's a poo aint it, sacrifice the raid set up for it.

 

Got most things working except:

 

Creative Fatality

Happauge Tv Card

Creative Web Cam.

 

But all the drivers for my board work fine also my Graphics card. It really is memory hungry though.

 

One thing it is a 14 day evaluation which i didn't realise until it was installed, not sure what will happen when it runs out, surely they wont charge me for a unstable buggy beta.

 

It's pretty good to be fair, hate to think it will run on a system anything lower speced that mine as at times you can feel it chugging along.

 

What ever you do though keep your old system as a back up.

 

Now downloading Office 2007 aswell.

it's 14days to register then you can use the beta till the new version comes out, cant remember the deactivation date.

 

also doesn't like the mobo "Set up was unable to retirve information for all of your disks"

full version should solve this problem cant rmember when the release date is tho

Vista 32 bit

 

Vista 64 bit drivers

 

you'll have to go to the Hauppauge site to get the vista drivers

 

and the Creative site to get the drivers for the web cam

Yeah i've got the 64bit drivers for the Sound card but they don't work.

 

Happauge don't have vista drivers neither do Creative for the cam i've got, it's a antic.

 

Oh forgot to mention it is the Ultimate edition so it's got media centre but not much good without the tv card working, but that is a con really as when the retail version is realesed you'll want to stay with the Ultimate.

 

I'm installing it on my work pc Monday but that will have to be the 32bit version rather than the 64bit.

i wouldn't install it on a work pc just in case. ps office 12 looks so much different and takes a bit of time to get acquainted with

I'll put it on a spare pc at work being a Microsoft product it will have some major bug.
