While out getting some Seek 'n' Seal today I spotted these car ramps.

Thinking they would save so much time when needing to get under the Zed

I was going to get a pair, then I noticed the price, £49 each, not for a pair, each. Just dont know if I can justify paying £100 for car ramps. So just came away with the Seek 'n' Seal.

i may be able to get them made at my old workplace steel fabricators/engineers cheaply and better for a group buy, if interested would you like me to ask my old boss tomorrow?

 

i have to call in there to get some stuff so i can draw them up and ask him tomorrow, its just angle steel sections so it wouldnt be that much.

Might be an idea just to be double sure :), is your car lowered at all?

No mate, not lowered, all standard. Dont think it would be a prob for mine.

Looking at the first slope on the second pic I suppose it depends on how much the Zed is lowered by though.

What you really need to do is make a metal replica of the wooden ones that (I think) John Dixon made up.

wish i still had my welding plant .. could have made some up .. angle isnt that bloody expensive
