hi all, someone made the mistake of mentioning they had a NOS kit for a skyline for sale, i'm considering it as it'll fit as far as i know..

anyway, my cars running 14psi and has the chip etc on it, running very sweet with no probs (touch wood).. has decat and other bits and goes well, dunno figures, but compared to the skyline its on par and that had 400

if i installed NOS how would i set up the car so it fuelled properly and didnt detonate??

i thought about a S-AFC II which i have sucessfully mapped several of, but that was on skylines...

any ideas, or shall i just forget it??

I dunno a great deal about mapping, but I do know that John Dixon should be able to help you out with a switchable re-map specially for the NOS.

I hope that is a little help...

As long as fuel is added with the gas mate you should be o.k-always better on the rich side tho'!

Speak to Wizards of Nos-they DO know what they're talking about! ;)

just in case you never new make sure its a wet kit

cheers guys, so it needs to be a wet kit, and a switchable re-map is the way... i'm assuming this means 2 chips running side by side, the one i have now and another one specifically for when (sorry IF lol) I run NOS, this sound about right??

doesnt sound so bad really, i'm definitely tempted now.. lol..

also i assume my stock injectors would need to be upped? maybe 555cc? what size are the stock injectors on a Z please?

cheers for the replies and advice..

Tony
