Not in the Zed - in the bathroom - the hot tap drips.

 

I can turn off the hot water but does anyone know how I take the tap to bits?

 

Does the top just screw off or will I need to unbolt it somewhere?

there are lots of different taps i would need a pic

first off - check if there is a cap of some description on top of the tap ( screw or push on) these normally hide a screw - undo screw lift off tap head and put spanner on the main body of the tap - this should undo. check washer and seat

 

any help??

I took a photo but can't resize it right now.

 

I managed to take the top of the tap off - it just lifts off and I can see the main body of the tap.

 

I'll try and get to the washer.

if its a qauter turn tap, its probably fooked, you can but new inserts though

 

just find out what make tap it is or take it along to a plumbers merchants and get them to get one for you
