ok.. tell me why?

well i just bought a USB to serial (db9) adaptor so that i could plug my laptop into my traction control unit to log data and save my settings..

now tell me this..

why would you spend so much on a system like this and keep it on default settings? it was set to 4 cylinders, every default setting imaginable- i couldn't believe it!

idiots!

anyway i downloaded a data file from the members section on here and fine tuned it a little bit and the car seems to run a little better although i've not actually tried the traction control to it's limits yet!

Moral of the story.. if you bought your car with TC fitted go check the settings out asap just in case they're still on defualt settings!

not a happy bunny me!

Because your an old fogey who still needs his kids to set the video for ya and thought traction control was a good safety feature and didnt realise it was more complicated than a video :nana2:
