hi guys,just wondered if anybody could give me some advice,i recently put a wanted thread for some mud flaps on the site and somebody called 2 up said he had some,and told me how much he wanted,i said fine and sent him a cheque ,he said when it cleared he would send them out,that was last weekend,he said he was sending them out last monday,well they hav'nt arrived,so ive sent him a pm twice and no answer,i thought as he was a member i would be alright ,never mind,so i was wondering should i put this down to experiance and learn by it ,only i think the club is great and you guys seem a great bunch,but this seems to have spoiled it a bit ,any thoughts would be much appriciated.cheers .Ian

i would wait one more week and if no item or reply then look into it.sometimes the post can be very slow ive had things that should take 3 days take 2 weeks.wouldnt worry yet mate

I like to think that most people aren't bad eggs, so maybe consider that his PC is knackered, or he's ill in bed, I don't know, give it a couple more days and see how it goes.

 

Has the cheque been cashed ?

have the pm's been read??. check when he was last on line. failing that pm mac1 with what happened. i have had quite afew transactions on here and not had a problem with any of them either way. hope this hasn't put too much of a downer on the club for you. there may be a genuine reason why you not heard anything yet. hth

You would have to be a very sad little person to rip someone off for the price of mud flaps thay should turn up with any luck otherwise :mac1:

hi guys just got a pm from 2up, it seems the delivery company couldnt find the address,so he's going to send the flaps out tomorrow by good old post orafice,so alls well.cheers guys.Ian.
