NZR !! Q2 Sensor query.

I know the Zed has 2 o2 sensors, one in each manifold, but !!

If you have a V8 engine, fuel injected, and it has one 02 sensor fitted as standard, not on the manifold, but about 3 inches down on the downpipe, and the downpipe joins to a one single pipe just behind the g/box, and then nearer the rear, splits again to give you a twin rear exit.

Would it matter to the sensor if you did away with the 2 down pipes joining and ran a dual system to the rear ??

Would that mean it would only measure one bank ??

Cant imagine there would be much pressure coming up from the other downpipe in the 1st place ??
