well i went to check on the progress of the z yesterday and the bodywork is coming along fine at the mo although the engine work has not started yet that is the next stage before they start spraying etc, so i asked if they had done the starter and they have fitted the replacement i got for them but it still has the problem they tell me so i went down there today in my overalls and got under the z myself dropped the starter off cleaned all the terminals, refitted it still had same problem which was just a slight click when i went to start it , so tested the solenoid with a direct wire to the battery, car turns over and starts it turns out the alarm i had fitted has gone faulty on the imobiliser cuircuit as soon as you put power in it cuts out after 1-2secs after all that i bypassed it and the car now starts, just think what a garage would have charged me to find that.
