    avg is crap, so is norton, panda,bulldog,mcafee etc....

     

    i have taken them off so many machines this year..

     

    kaspersky personal suite and professional suite is currently the leader in results. it finds boot sector worms, overide scripts and start up block checks for those listed above.

     

    free months trial, buy the software and years subscription for £40.

     

    installed on all my new builds and corporate builds. finds things the others dont period. and before i get the fookin usual it dont work on 64bit machines, ask for the beta version for 64bit machines.... you may get lucky and put on the trial list.
