Hi all picked up my Black Zed TT the weekend and its Fab - in fact better than i imagined - so, so quick and responsive, great and comforatable drive - its the best, should have bought one years ago!!!!

Now - it still has the original Tape Deck - i have bought a new CD player to fit, but im presuming it needs some sort of adaptor to fit the Jap spec?

Also while im taking that plastic surround off , (and does the clock just lift out with it?) im going to replace it - are there any better 'versions' around, say a chrome one or even just a silver one - or is it a case of spraying the one i alraedy have?

Questions, questions...sure i seen on here somewhere maybe the traders section, a package - exhaust, induction kit etc..? cant find it now ...

Thanks in advance...!!

Forward facing abseiling. The rush you get as you run and jump of a cliff edge takes some beating.

agreed - only ever done abseiling the normal way and that was bad enough.

so does anyway know where this link is or was i seeing things!

sure it was like a start pack...or something..there again - i am losing my mind..

Great Barr, blimey only 10 miles from me, I live in Sutton Coldfield. We could meet up for a jar or two perhaps.

I strongly recomend you use Zedworld based outside of Tamworth for non trivial stuff. Jeff there has been up front with me and fitted me in for work when i had my two calamities of a dead clutch and a crash.

Please dont crash yours dude - Zeds dont like the wet and no erratic throttle on any bend, keep it smooth. Is my humble advice.

Yep you take care in the rain or she'll bite you big time.

Get the very best rubber you can on her. That is the most important and most overlooked mod of all as it's that bit of the car that holds you to the road or doesn't. I recomend Bridgestone S02's if you can get them or Perrelli Rosso Neros ZR rating. Not cheep but They are almost ride flat tyres. Had a imediate deflation at 95 mph last week. Big lump of metal made a 2 inch hole in one.

Chris from Get Greddy was in the car with me and thought it wasn't punctured. Your life is worth every penny + there the best tyre you can have in the rain.

In answer to your question regarding the sterio you will have to get an aerial adapter and an electrical wiring adaptor to allow a new sterio to fit straight in the Zed. All good in car entertainment suppiers should sell them, they are also occasionally on Ebay, sadly not at the moment.

Gotta agree with the rubbber advice...even with smooth accel in this weather it can try to get away from you as mine did on sat.Have had mine for 4 weeks now and I smile every time I drive it...am starting to get used to the performance and am now thinking about more power but sensibly.
