Last week I went to a mechanic in Dartford, Scotts who specialise in Nissan and Porsche to get the Zed a new cambelt and brakes. While I had it there I had the mechanic give it a once over to tell me more about the car and whats been done to it. After telling me I have a fully adjustable suspension I then ask him are those the right size wheels for my car because the car seems to be all over the road, if I go around a round about it will start to slide. He says I would imagine it is quite scary driving as you have mud and snow tires on the car which dont grip on normal roads. I asked if he could sell me some tires for the car and he said he didnt have any in stock but he contacted his supplier and before the cambelt was finished I has new tires. The story gets better. He also had an old set of OEM wheels which I was able to get off of him. They were a bit battered but I wanted a set of them anyway. After all of the work was completed he said lets go for a test drive and boy the car goes around corners like its on rails, now I can realy see why everyone here is so in love with their cars. I drove home on the M25 and M23 and had a great drive. While I am typing this I am having the wheels refurbished by a company which come to you and do your wheels. My Zed has had a great Christmas and so have I. I will put some pics up of the new standard looking car when its finished.
