His Nissan sports car span and he took the full force of the 60mph impact.

 

Bit worrying if thats what happened to one of these cars at only 60mph! :eek:

I imagine he was going considerably faster than 60mph actually... just that was the speed he hit the tree at, and yes, if you hit a tree sideways at that speed, particularly with the additional angular momentum provided by spinning then that's going to be the result for pretty much any car short of a Humvee.

I've seen a couple of zeds around Dorset, but both of them dark colours so it's not either of the ones I've seen. A real tragedy, particularly at Christmas. RIP.

I've seen the car parked up in Christchurch, nice looking machine it was.
