Just got the Zed back from the exhaust gasket being sorted.. 200 quid + VAT

 

Get a call - turns out he recons the Intake side of the exhaust from the tubby's is blowing, and theres an oil leak leading onto the cambelt..

 

So its an engine out jobbie. He wants £750+ VAT :rant: :headvswal

Join the lemon zed club mate, i got one too which is also at zen :(

 

They are quality blokes mate and havent taken the piss as far as im concerned so i'd definately recommend you go with whatever they say :D

 

Also if you stop ringing them all the time they might get my car out quicker lol :rofl: (only joking of course)

I lent my Z to my old boss once just for a day, he gave me £60 for it. When he gave it back all was fine then a few days later I noticed some scratches on the bottom valance, I questioned him he denied it :( I asked if I could take his new company vehicle for a spin, he said ok, I accidently reversed it into a stack of fencing panels. OOPS. Basically most bosses are T.I.T.S and know fook all about cars apart from "do they have a hook in the back to hang their suits on". I would say something about it to him he might pay up.
