One of my ultimate goals is Gumball but apart from not havin the dosh for bribes, fines, and fixing me motor after, i think iwould end up slappin some of the rich w*nkers for not understanding what its like to struggle all yer life to get something then havin to fight tooth and nail to keep it AND having to go without sometimes !!!!!!!  over

I'd love to do it!!

But as my gearbox to miles ratio isnt that good, i'd need about 3 spare's in the boot LOL

do you have any idea on the entrance fee's???????

i'm guessing not lol

well what about the euro gumball rally, that would be best for us, i have wanted to do it for ages but never found the right car to do it in, not to sure a 300zx would even make it round with out blowing up, average speed is about 150mph all the time our cars would blow up after 3hrs of that wont they lol.

give me a few months to safe then if anyone wants to do the euro one, im deffo up for it.

Do you think the AA would pick up from Bosnia after telling them you are in the Euro gumball and that the turbo,s blew at 170mph ???

Me and a friend looked into doing it last year (Hes got a Ferrari !!)

and although he was up for using his motor The £8k + costs repairs recovery insurance etc put a sharp end to it :headvswal

I'd love to do it!!

rich, why not plummit the extra few ££ and get a reliable one, instead of all these 2nd hand boxes :D then gumball is on the horizon :hyper:

I've thought for ages now about doing a UK one.

Could the club's regional reps get together and come up with a Grand Tour of the UK?

(Probably Travel Inn rather than 5* hotels though LOL)

When I was part of the MR2 forum there was talk of doing a John o Groats to Lands End run. Im sure they did it, but as I work up that end of Scotland now I might end up doing it with my girlfriend sometime. Not the same as when there are loads of cars though.

Could be a possible future run, or even some other planned UK/Western Europe trip.

I would go for it, date depending of course.

I went on a cross Europe trip earlier this year with 17 other super cars (TVR's, Porsche's, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lotus etc) not so much a Cannonball, but an organised free for all across Europe :hyper: see here http://www.eurohoon.com for info.

this one in april looks spot on, who would be up for this one.

I am seriously considering this..... I looked on the web site and under 900£ pp is not bad...

Wear and tear on the car is normal and will most likely do it good if you drive like me... ie average of 30mph...

so hmmmm I will need to talk to the wife.

:x:

for the four days how much do you think the fuel wear and tear would be, and would you change oil and and belts before going to europe, also what else would you do, looked it up the sights you would see are amazing and great roads, there all flat, no speed bumps YYYYIIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPYYYYYYYYYY or massive pot holes

if you said 2500 i think you are seriously going to be pissed out of your head most of the time.. so that should be the limit.

hmmm seriously considering...

2500 all in do you mean, thats abit steap i think, i was thinking about 2000 tops.

ive posted about this before as iam building my car for it :hyper: i was going this year but sold the old zed

iam a member of the cannonball as ive been a passanger with my mate and his skyline and its the best thing ive ever done :hyper: but i now have to drive in it myself :hyper:

the euro trip is the best thats the 1 we did london to montcarlo and its cheaper than you think :hyper: you get sponserd to race you apply when you have been chosen to enter!! warning not everyone can get in there are limited spaces

as for the rich kids thats all hyped up buy tv theres loads of normal tuned up cars the welsh boys in the gtir are top lads they were sat on our table and had us in stiches but the tv likes to show the super hot cars for the ratings  the euro run was £5,000 but after getting lots of stickers on the car that came down to £2,000 for the driver and £1k for me passanger

does the 300zx club want to sponser my fuel bill

who sponcers you mate or do you have know choice of the sponcer, does the stickers fuk up your paint otherwise they can sod off lol

YOU HAVE A FEW CHOICES

1. THE SPONCERS THEY HAVE BUT YOU HAVE TO BE SIGNED UP EARLY TO GET THE BEST DEALS

OR GET LOCAL FIRMS WE DID AND RASIED OVER £3.5K AS WE DID THE TRIP FOR CHARITY WISH UPON A STAR. WE HAD HALFORDS,ESSO,AND LOCAL TUNNING FIRMS AS MY MATE RUS HIS OWN GARAGE HE GOT LOTS OF CONTACTS. JUST GO ROUND AND BLAG :hyper:

THE STICKES ARE FINE TO PEEL OFF

wud you be up for it next year then????????????????????????????????

IF YOU SAW MY CAR   NOT NEXT YEAR

IAM GETTING BOOKED IN FOR 2007 UNLESS I COME INTO LOTS OF CASH OVER XMAS TO PAY FOR MY CAR TO BE REBUILT :hyper:

IAM HAVING ALL NEW BODY PARTS BEEN MADE ONE OFF IN CARBON AND THE ENGINE HAS TO BE REBUILT

BUT IAM INTRESSED IF ANY ONE WANTS A CO PILOT
