Was in "GAME" shop, at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol last night, chatting to the salesman about the xbox360.....unless Im very mistaken they had them their to buy....without preorder.

Unfortunately even a lot of pre-order people aren't going to be getting theres. The only chance of getting one is going to a place that doesn't take pre-orders like Legrath suggested, and then trying to buy one of the handful that will go on sale at midnight tonight.

There's an interesting story as to why Microsoft can't even fulfill the pre-orders they promised that everyone would get, but if I leaked it they would probably have me killed as well as fired.

I have one on order from argos its sposed to be here tommorow. My son like anyones elses will be gutted as everyone else in the family have bought him all the accessories to go with it. I might give argos a ring later. I wish i had ordered 2 or 3 now could have made a killing on ebay with them.

I just phoned argos and they have said that all their orders a re due to be delivered tomorrow and if i ring after 8am they will tell what sort of time. so fingers crossed.

 

There are a few on ebay. ok a bit expensive but you can collect and dont have to worry about delivery.

I Makes me sick that companys can take more orders than they have units allocated :rant: They should be stopped from doing it !

What if you order one as a Christmas gift ?

You are spot on Tony. I am still worried as they have been fighting in the streets in the USA over these fookin things. If they take your money and dont deliver then you should be allowed to sue. that might make them think the next time?

It's the same where I work... We took a load of pre orders and only half of them 50% of them turned up on monday, then next 30% will be in by Dec 15th and the last 20% by Jane 15th... Microsoft Uk haven't produced enough to satisfy demand!!! I'm gonna have to deal with a lot of pissed off people tomorow when they try and collect them... Bloody Microsoft.. :rant: And the rumour about no more till June is about right!

well asda have them in and i could que for one but tbh i cant be arsed to stand in asda for 5 hours to get one lol

tescoes are stocking them aswell.........................to make sure you get one i suggest camping outside for the night....

You know (rant beginning) these new consoles never move gaming forward much. It's just better, smoopther graphics etc

 

Where's the innovation - I have yet to see anything to match Elite and than ran on a 32K BBC Micro.

Wait for the Playstation 3!! It always seems to be the market leader and I'm sure it must be due out soon too.
