It is the Skyline in Japan, and the Infinity G35 in the US.

3 series BM?

That i beleive is a BMW Z2 prototype. It never went into production as such.

Chunk, it's a BMW Z1 based on a mk 1 3 series floor plan and if I'm not mistaken the first to use the Z rear axle arrangement.

 

The doors are super trick and slide into the sills.

for extra geek points- it was powered by a 170bhp 2.5l straight six from the 3 series and was a 2 seater convertible which cost circa £35k. Released around the same time as the Z32 was. Only ever came in left hand drive. One of the cars I'd like to own.
