Lost (deceased) my ex-Mrs Turbo on January 30th although been split up since about July/August '04 but we'd been together for about 12 years so was gutted but the 300ZX crew were there for me. Thanks again everyone!

But on the up, had met my new Mrs. Turbo a.k.a. Jen and then found out that she was preggers plays pop in April.

Jobwise things have been good, been lucky enough to stay in good IT contracts all year and looking forward to a happy Crimbo (for a change) and an even happier New Year with the birth of our daughter...due 31st December.

Z still not been officially on the road this year but that will change next year.

What else?

Moved from Anglesey to Mold just outside Chester.

Oh and finally getting my Rotties back from the kennels this weekend, they've been in there since Heidi passed away...10 months! So am well mad for that although me Mrs. ain't as enthusiastic. LOL :D

So how's yours been then kiddies? Highs and lows! ;)

2005 started well enough, then rapidly deteriorated, lost my wife in a car crash in June , my step daughters husband was killed in a bike accident 6 weeks ago. However both the 300zx and the SXOC were amazing and very supportive, from thier combined gift I was able to put £250 each into my childrens savings accounts, £1000 went towards funeral costs , and the rest went to my step daughter to help with her baby daughter who was born a couple of weeks ago. I have been staying with my parents since my wife passed away, whilst I clear out and rennovate my house. The zed is mothballed for a bit, and I used some of the insurance money to buy a Nissan Almera 1.4, to use as a runabout and to take the kids to school. I still managed to make it to the JAE with my daughter , which was very special for her ( only 8 yrs old). Things are still very tough, with lots of difficult memories to deal with every day. But we are pulling through bit by bit. My work has altered my hours to let me spend more time with my family, which has been fantatsic, I only hope it continues. I have been trying to get to know a young woman of recent, but only time will tell, may be a bit soon but I find good company is a great help. Looking forward to Christmas at home with my kids, and hopefully someone new . Thanks for all your support guys and gals. lets hope that 2006 will be zedtatsic.

Shit!:(

Are you the Father of her eldest Daughter?

Not that it is of any importance,Its just if my daughter made up a story that was not true and lied to get me in the hot water that you are in I would be gutted.

2005 as a whole...sh*te..hope 2006 is better...

no she is not my natural daughter and as for her lieing she stood there in court (well on tv link) and destroyed everything i had ever hoped to do (i was looking at going into the navy) and her family were all laughing at me but hey when i come out again (sentencing is 9th dec) i will be taking great pleasure in exacting my revenge

ahem single again!! that bout sums up 2005 for me just hope i can find a nice wife next year, zeds had a new engine again and im still on my shift job that i love, thats it really fellas

Dude, that is shit! Nasty fvckers!!

yeah you dont need to tell me there nasty f*ckers when we split all i ended up with was 2 bin bags of clothes she kept everything else cars furniture etc

Work wise... In February I was told that we were to expect redundency, this was then reprieved with a new contract coming our way. Now that that contract finishes at the end of January '06 we are defo expecting redundency in the new year. (it's been in all the newspapers, Network Rail refusing to buy our place, or even take it on for nothing!!!! Alstom, my employer, cant even give it away!! Bloody disgusting, it's the only Railway testing facility in the UK)

Family life.... Ups and downs with my ex-wife (not actually divorced yet) Having a fantastic life without her though ;) Things would be just fine now, if I can sell my house very soon.

Zed wise..... Not been a fantastic year, didn't make it to most of the shows I wanted to attend. The auto box gave up the ghost, and after a £1200 re-build, the linkage dropped off as I arrived at JAE. Then just three weeks later the whole box packed up again!! All sorted under warranty, but all the inconvenience has really pissed me off. Started the year off by completeing my 60k service and quite a few other bits at the same time. Finishing the year off with some more, minor, work, but then it'll be taken off-road, as with pending redundency and not having sold my house yet, I simply cant afford to pay for the insurance (due 28th Dec) So it'll be SORNed and stored at my dads house untill things sort themselves out.

Personlly mate i would have them knocked off. They don't deserve to carry on living while you're in prison for something you haven't done!

I was contemplating recently about selling everything I have bought for the Z and giving up the quest I have had over several years about about building a decent Z as work and personal situations have changed and somewhat stupidly thinking everybody in the owners circle had it easier but reading this thread has totally changed my perceptive and brought home some real home truths and made me totally get back on plan and as I have tried to justify many times in the past that the forum is not a petrol head thing,it is a whole good social thing and having the car is one thing but the bonus is that you meet some really genuine and good people ---I for one will continue and will look forward to meeting the people and their cars as an item--thanks to everybody for hanging in there all those with"real problems"!!

Moved jobs, now working in Gloucester and just brought a new place there.....no more commuting from Birmingham!!!

After a crap start things are now on the up.... :)

Here's to a good festive period and a great new year for everyone.

Matty.

End of last year I had to deal with my Mum dieing in my arms, its hard to believe but this year has been even worse. Heres hoping 2007 gets better.

hm start of year found zed club on net whilst searching to buy a 300zx , learnt a bit about zeds , bought chunks lwb , "pleased to do so" had good year at work except loss of work colleauge for 12 weeks two broken legs , erm loads of work on zed looking forward to next year , very happy to end this year on a goodnote great to meet some of you ,,as not met the rest of you yet, very proud to belong to this club and be a friend to those on it , all the best to you all !! life will always be full of ups and downs just enjoy each day as it comes .

ok my year on a better view easy i can sum it up in one sentence

i bought a zed wooooooohooooooooooooo

2005 was overall a good year for me. Nearly left IT work after doing another shite contract and was forced to resign from it But i landed an IT manager job that is great. Quite a lot of women action. At the moment i am really good friend with a lass i really really like but she wont go out with me properly. I have my hopes. She really sets me on fire

I have grappled with depression all my life but i have it well controlled this year.

ok now i can put here exactly what i was charged and convicted for but if i do i need you all to understand that i am actually innocent and am in the process of appealing
