Well I have no idea why people are leaving but perhaps someone could say and it could be talked about, sorted out and perhaps some that have left / are leaving may have a change of mind. Just a thought.

Reading through some old threads kinda dawned on me all the folks who ain't here and the ones that are who should have left a long time ago.

If thats the case perhaps all members could be made aware of this, I know other forums where it would not be allowed at all. The main reason this club exists is for talking about the Zed, if many more knowledgable people go then it will be too late to salvage anything.

save all the mindless crap for MSN and make this an interesting forum again (I joined early 2004 and it was ok then...its got even worse of late...am only hanging around to sell all my stuff of my dead Z).

i dont ask these kind of questions but these sort of questions are on the general discussion board where they belong. for all things zed theres the 300zx board. its a shame if all our valued members ie. john dixon, start to leave, if someone has a problem with this club it should be sorted because if valued members do start leaving then its the 300zx car that suffers. not all of us have the knowledge (me anyway) to fix these cars. without the help of you guys on this site my zed would have ended up on ebay a long time ago. we are all here for the passion of the same car not to piss each other off :(

Forum has changed in the last 3-4 months, but Im sure it goes through phases.

What is making so many people annoyed and leaving to ZClub?

I know i'm new but, will people say what has changed.

I do not have a Z YET but did join to learn all about them.

I do sometimes post on the daft threads just for the laugh

but only on the general disscusion board NEVER anywhere else.

So come on lets have it out and sort it cos the ZClub think we

are having a mutiny. :headvswal

come on John, own up, youve sold the zed and bought a toyota, youre just too proud to admit it!!!, just kidding, hope the V8 project goes well, hopefully i'll see you run it at the pod at some point.

if its the crap threads that are making everyone leave then why not have a section dedicated to just that (obviousely find a catchier name)

 

that way if all you want to do is talk zed then you dont have to visit the proposed new section

 

im not suer how easy it would be to set up but sound like a good idea to me maybe do a vote on it to see what people think

 

me personally love this site for all its ups and downs and at the end of the day we have so many people using this site now (and quite a lot are subscribed) that its bound to change

 

not having a go at anyone just my opinion as everyone else seems to have one i thought i would share mine also

I will openly admit that I have joined Z Club today, but I was planning to do so at some point anyway, this issue just reminded me.

However, my first loyalty will always be to THIS forum as this is where I 'popped my Z cherry', as it were, and I will always hold this club in the highest regard. I have made a lot of good friends through this forum, and am continuing to do so.

Having said all this, IMHO things have started to go a little stale of late, so I have decided to broaden my horizons a little.

 

That's all.

see you on z-club john,its not entire forum,its a couple of individuals you know who you are ;) that ruin it IMO :( Still regard the site highly and will use it often as per usual :D

sorry to hear this ive not met you but heard a lot about you all good, also i no you have done some work on my car . through other mechanics etc and very happy with results etc etc, be a big shame to see you go ,hope the problem clears up and you come back someday soon all the best paul !

What ever the reason, what ever the need. You have my backing. You have helped on the forum a few times. Anyway Good luck and all the best. There is obviously alot of issues. We all have them with the club and with other things in life. So you got my support if you feel this is the best thing for you.

My love / passion for these cars has not diminished in any way, and anyone that still wants advise / work etc please feel free to contact me, some people on here (Chunk, Leigh, Matt to name a few) will always have my number or my mail address is on here.

 

I just feel recently this place has gone downhill. Too much drivel, too many people spouting 2nd hand crap without ever having actually done anything and too much chavvy shite. Seems any thread with any worth ends up with my car's better than your car and a load of ego massaging. To be honest, this forum was what got me into the Z in the first place, and it's a shame to see it end up like this but at the end of the day it's really not important enough to me to get all that bothered about, Just hope everyone on here remembers what the cars are for - go and DRIVE them and just enjoy it!

 

Anyway, stick a fork in me - I'm done :(
