looking at swapping my cossie for a black 300zx it has got 20" rims on it,has this been done before ? also would they rub or be a bad ride.?

 

also how much would you say these parts would be worth to sell? they are brand new

I think they look crap and I know many more who think likewise, but the worst pat about them is they fill with water as it cannot run of due to its design. Then the rear window seal go and it fills the car. So in short someone will buy it of ya, but not if they know anything about Z's

Remember Ginger B011ox saying to me that fitting 19" Blitz wheels on his Z was a big mistake, rubbing and all that... negat turning circle either coz you can't get a decent full lock.

 

Stick with 18's if you can. ;)

Keep the cossie until you find a good Z and look at as many as poss first before you by. If you shout up on here someone in the area where your going to look will come out and check her over for you.

the strosek bodk kit will cost you 2.5k to 3k to fit and paint

on its own the coil overs will cost you 200quid to fit and setup

add this to the cost of purchase your into 10k easy, and its a 2+2

to start with ;)

have a look in the for sale section mate, only cost you time to mail the sellers and ask wont it

Contrary to myth spacers on a Zed are fine as long as you get decent ones, Syko Racing or the Z centre do nice space jobbies.

I know they aint given anyone here problems, but surely 20" whhels will be much more of a stress wouldnt it?

have to say, i think it would worry me.

 

also while im thinking, just how much is the speedo going to be out with 20's

its all very true and needs to be thought about, you wouldnt want to be replacing those tyres to often due to rubbing, camber probs etc

Get GPS/Road Angel, my speedo hasn't worked on my MR since I bought it. ;)

to be fair, your car looks tidy (did i really just say that about a ford?)

i would sell yours mate, then have the cash to buy, you will get an amazing one for 7k trust us

a good tidy clean one is easy to get for 4-5k
