can any body help i cant connect to any online media with real player or windows media player been try to view a video off here but media player pops up trys to connect then shuts down with a problem any ideas anyone? better say its media player 10 with windows xp cheers kev

hmm its hard to say without more detail mate, could be a firewall not allowing wmp access to your internet?

uninstall it, including regisry entries and reinstall it

think i sorted it now guys was not the firewall and did the uninstall-reinstall as well with no joy so just formatted pc and re installed windows now all seems ok

yup tried everything to get it working even installed real player and had same probs so here i am 2 hours later with pc running well and less crap on it lol
