Which looks best - I don't know what to do. Seen a few spoilerless and love them, but I like the factory look too.

I did my best with my very limited PSP skills. I know it's not much of a difference - but it does change the look quite a bit. Please help me decide.

No spoiler is also an OEM look, isn't it? I thought american NA two seaters did not have a spoiler from the factory. This is where I originally saw a no-spoiler car in the old 300zx The Enthusiasts Companion. I just went out and looked at the car. In the dark. And the rain, and although I think no spoiler looks good in photos when I tried to imagine it looking at the car I thought their would be a wide expanse of butt which does look better with the spoiler. If you look at the car in profile, the stock spoiler's upwards tilt echoes the upward slant of the bumper, which is lost if you remove it. I still think the OEM spoiler makes the car look dated, and without it the back looks cleaner and more modern. I have to make a decision and I won't be able to bloody manage it at this rate. Once it's off you can't really put it back on.

Smooooooth bud all the way  Mine is coming off in the new yr ;)

And FFS fix that ariel....:slap:

personally i quite like the 99spec spoiler as it seems to set the car off nice but not too in your face as some.

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

My NA has no rear spolier from new.

Most of the time I think it looks awesome but occasionally I catch it from some angle and think - ohhh it could do with a spoiler. If I fitted one it'd be the 99 spec.

But I do like it as it is and will probably leave it like that.

Rich, here is my SWB with no spolier..............

As said, im getting the tailgate skin and TBH, i cant wait to get something back on there!

yup shorties are the same as longies

thanks bud i want a skin as i like the idea of the lip how much did you pay to have it sprayed up?

Hey apache, what type is that spoiler? Looks similar to some others I've seen but the angle matches that of the car body, which looks much better IMHO.

Saw plenty of despoilered zeds in the States. Was thinking of doing it myself but am less keen on it than I was. I quite like the stock look (although I need to get a fibreglass replacement because mine is starting to flake quite badly), but I also like some of the mid-level jobbies (see Apache's earlier post). '99 spec like Greg's is good as well.

I like it - have you got any pictures from the side, or three-quarters view?

Didn't think of clicking that button! The car looks very nice. I have been thinking about this for the past week and I think no spoiler looks best on a 2+2. I think I prefer the tailskin to the plastic panel, but I just can't decide, which probably means it will stay as it is for the moment - only that seems daft when the car is going in for a re-spray anyway.

When the car has got a deep back bumper and skirts I think it suits the no-spoiler better - makes the car have more 'weight' at the back. With the stock bumper I think the spoiler still looks good. I'm still stuck with this decision and the car goes in tomorrow!
