Maybe im being a bit touchy as he is a mate

of mine but i was on the site last night and

noticed my mate rob (Gananca)had the pi$$

taken cos his english isnt 100%,might be due to

the fact that he comes from Madeira i think.

anyway he pays his £20 and hardly gets time

to use the site as he is always very busy

with his work but i kept on to him to get on

the site cos everyones great.I just hope

he dont take too much offence cos he

has owned and rebuilt zeds for as long as

i can remember and he could be a great help

to some of us guys on here.

i visit the forum most days either to try and help others or to seek advice mysel, and i agree with bubbles that a certain group of people on here are very quick to point the finger and have a laugh at someone else's expense, My sons English is not that great either, but thats because he had a tumour removed from the base of his brain at 14 years old which left him with learning difficulties and some speech and balance problems .

for all anybody knew on here , ganaca could have been in a similar situation to my son

Ok he wasnt, he is not a native English speaker . but what was said could have been very insulting and upsetting , .....come on guys its not a youth club we are grown men ...think of the consequences that your comments could have on somebody before you post

I am sorry I cant understand where you are coming from but I must say this:

It happens all the time you get a registered user come on the site (not complaining) and they start with a pi55 take or two. then you get people coming on and making stupid remarks or telling ridiculous stories you get others coming on and slaggin off peoples rides and then some just to bucket mouth. Sometimes someone like ganaca who genuinely dont speak the language very well comes on and gets a bit of stick. I read the threads and it seems to me that as soon as it was mentioned about him not being english everyone stopped takeing the pi55. So whats the problem then. If everyone stopped then it was an obviuos mistake. I think some of the members on here should stop getting stuck up their own ar5es and complaining about all the other members at the drop of an hat? Its a FORUM FFS and that means people from all walks of life and if someone like ganaca comes on in hes first thread introduce himself to all and tell us a bit about himself. Easy.

A point i wanted to make is that people go on

about non subsribers using the site for ages

without paying a penny,etc etc and Gananca

subscibed again last november,uses the site

hardly ever but when he comes on here gets

the pi$$ taken its really gonna make him want

to re-subscribe

have to agree with bubbles

 

i paid pretty much when i joined, cant see the problem with people doing the same

 

maybe its just me but thats my view :)

 

i know how difficult it must be not to have english as a first language, my girlfriend is chinese, her parents speak a little english. they still make the effort which in my books goes a hell of a long way

i replied to the chap with a useful number for the guranteed parts he wanted,i fully understoold what he said and if i can even make heed of what is said then thats good enough for me :D
