9p / kilo duty on LPG? How many litres is a kilogram? It would appear we pay as much IN DUTY per litre for our unleaded as the ameicans pay for their unleaded per litre!

What do you think will happen when cars eventually run on water or some other readily, non-environment-harming power source becomes mainstream? Will road tax be £3000 a year or something? :xxx:

 

It's getting that way that our cars will be worth buttons being 3l TT's purely due to fuel prices :mad:

Yeah, its true, you can see it now though that loads of these smaller car companies are selling cars purely on the fact they have a 1 litre perfume burning engine in that does 65 mpg, its why the yaris is so popular, and the kia picanto. Cos they have nothing else going for them, do they? It will go full circle with zeds, just you watch. They started off as an elite car, £40,000 only a few people could afford to drive them. The prices are going down and down now because of fuel prices, and it means they will be used less and less. More of them will rot away and they will become very very rare, and again they will be cars that only a handful of people can afford to drive due to their rarety and fuel consumption.

 

I feel sorry for people like greg and ryan who will lose out as a result of this too as their clientele will become less and less as fewer zeds are on the road :(

 

Its a terrible mess and we need a party stronger than anything we have at the moment to sort it out.

Why waste time filling up the pool? In fact why waste time going to argos to buy the pool and then blowing it up? :D :rofl:

well it's kinda wierd round here the bp garage over the road from me had a tanker in at 6pm when i went to work so everyone was queing to fil up and panic buy i travelled 4 miles to a texaco garage on a main road and it was dead got straight in and filled up but they did say they have also banned filling any types of cans with fuel
