I had it on my beemer 323 and it knackered my big ends :(

Was fookin superb for 6 months...then..Knock knock knock knock rattle

having said that Im gonna fit it on me Zeee some time but not till the engine has been strengthend/lightned and balenced...

otherwise....

BooM

What ever kit u get you can alter the nozzle size to suite bhp increase but make sure you go for a "wet kit" with the extra fuel lines otherwise it will defo blow

your looking anywhere from 50-150 bhp increase depending on how mad you go.

also...only use it above 3000rpm otherwise it will literally bend your conrods as it cant take the extra compression...thats if the head gasket doesnt go first :smash:

Pretty safe really

and another thing....

Do not use platinum tip spark plugs...

this can cause a backfire and will litterally blow all of your pipes of and maybe fook ur plenum

thx mate so your saying its safe then????????????

do i need to do anything else to my engine to make it work better or to be safe so my engine doesnt go bang

karl

I cant see the point in nos unless you have really large tubs and you want to reduce lag ... if you have a n/a then go for it ... otherwise I can't see the point

I raised the rev limiter on my beemer to 8500rpm as you want to make the most of the power coz by the time you hit 3000rpm and the noz kicks in it shoots round to the limiter in no time.

I fitted a micro Dynamics electronic rev limiter with a smooth cut...

Exhaust will have to be the nuts mate to get rid of the extra air and it sounds soooooooooo good i creamed meself but thats another story...lol

You may need to uprate your fuel pump/pressure depending on how mad u go as it needs lots more juice to keep up.

oh...and it works out about £1 a secound on Noz...fpmsl

lol...you would understand if youve had it bud...

Out of this world...

Turbos are like fookin fans compared to Noz ;)

ok kool point taken, we all have our opinions but i just think i want it for looks aswell, coz i like the purge kit on it aswell, ( proper poser) hahahaha

karl

and you want to reduce lag

It will not reduce turbo lag as you cannot put it in below 3000rpm...as above bud

Nearly forgot...

You have to increase the spark plug gap and increase the heat rating on the plugs by about 2:smash:

why the **** steve do you need nos on a tt set up? .. explain please ... :-)

lol....You dont need it....

But it depends how quick you wanna go...

You want a 9 second car without spending 25K....

Then Noz is your answer

NOS.........

Drag car.................yes

Road car................no!

All IMHO of course

I dont like NOS and I will never fit it to my car:D

lol....

I luv NOS and will never have 25K to spend on an engine :D

hmmm OK bud .. Im not convinced LOL .. PM me with some of your ideas then ... I thought the best way to use NOS on a tt is when you have LARGE TUBS and you can set it up to reduce the lag ... I am interested how you can use it though ...

:-)

Good to be back

PMSL But if you fit NOS then you will probably spend 30k on rebuilds :headvswal :p ;)

Consider nitrous as a chemical supercharger. Nitrous setup properly will do anything a turbo or supercharger will do and be there when you need it. The rest of the time your running in normal mode with no strain on the engine.

I'm fitting N2O to the V8 (thanks again Jock if you're reading this ;)) but the VH seems to be a bit more suited to coping with nitrous than the VG (though I'm not saying that a well set-up system on a well maintained VG30DETT can't work perfectly well ;)). The Q45 guys in the States run 100 shot, day in, day out with no problems whatsoever, which is quite reassuring! I've been thinking about using a low pressure automotive fuel pump and low pressure, pressure regulator on the petrol side coupled with installing a water/alky injection system to keep the combustion chamber temperatures down and allow running max advance on the timing (that should allow me to go as far as a 200 shot if needed)...Plus N2O might give me a (slim!:D) fighting chance against Johns own insane V8 rebuild! Lol! :D

Macca...I could import 25 TT engines at a grand a piece and break even mate

PMSL Stay away from NOS mate and fit nice Greddy tubs instead because when Greddy spool V8s drool  :D;)

lol...like the pun there Macca

I think rather than bigger tubbies my Aston Engine builder buddy has offered his services for free to build a zed engine but using a supercharger and Titanium most bits...and the rumours floating about off titanium not lastin more than 20,000 miles are poop....thats for a race engine constantly doin that rpm.

Will have as much torque as bhp and will rev in excess of 10,000rpm

Its gonna take a couple of years but at least by then I should have the chassis sorted and drive

Its gonna need a lota dyno time and a few doner engines but should be worth it

:smash: :smash: :smash:

You will see when you are reading my rear plate with binoculars:D;)

Christ! I didn't realise that when your engine blows it will scatter the bits THAT far away! :D ;)
