Hello Mr bob, i dont think anyone will be meeting at J19 this time...there all meetin at J10 on m56 dont know if thats near to you though? there coming of at j10 on m56 and joining the a49, just as you join a49 there is a pub on the right, not sure what its called but there meeting there at 9am. then goin on to oulton park........

I was at Oulton yesterday in our S3 Elan. On the circuit parade laps there were 2 300 ZXs behind me. I knew one was an a******e as he was swearing loudly that he`d left his (heavy?) spare wheel in the car at it would slow him down. Probably that`s why he span on the first lap at about 40m.p.h. The other one had petrolheads writ large down his car, probably had one of those naff personal vanity plates as well.

Anyway, the pace car kept us painfully slow and the only fun was to be had by leaving a good gap to the car in front then powering through the bends. so what happens? the ZXs over-took so they could do 40mph in front of me. One said afterwards he thought I was waving him past ! Iwas certainly gesticulating but not come on, rather F**k off. Probably a reflection of his intellect. I bet he reads Max Power and thinks track days are the days you wear track suits.

I was on the track at the same time as you in the pearl white 300z, but i must off been in front of ya. Did'nt see the car spin off behind me etc, but heard about it l8tr.

 

Tell u the truth if i was stuck behind one of S3 elans, i would want to overtake it, but i would save it for the road....

 

What do you think....do you wanna race dude.....

 

P.S don't 4 get to take your spare wheel out gumpy Jim, you will need to knock some weight of that S3 to catch me.
